PGCCS has an Early Intervention Program in Apache
Junction. The program serves children in Apache Junction, Queen
Creek, and Gold Canyon. The program is free to children who are
between birth and three years old and have an identified developmental
delay or disability. The program is offered in the child’s
natural environment, typically the child’s home. The levels
of service depend on the needs of the child and family, and are
typically scheduled on a weekly basis. Home visits with a developmental
specialist consist of ideas, activities and support designed to
meet your child’s unique needs and stimulate development.
In addition, we offer monthly consultative therapy with a team consisting
of physical, occupational and speech therapists, parents and the
developmental specialist who will work together to develop a home
program that can be implemented as part of the family’s daily
routines and activities.
